BRUNSHAUSEN MONASTERY ...
The Klosterhof Brunshausen is part of a historic district of the lovely spa town of Bad Gandersheim. Here, on the edge of the Harz Mountains in southern Lower Saxony, is the Brunshausen Monastery, founded in the ninth century by the Liudolfingers to Christianize northern Germany.
The farm is attached to the ensemble that is visible today - known as Brunshausen Monastery - as a state domain from the 19th century.
The large four-sided courtyard offers space for workshops in wood crafts, a café in the countryside and a guest house to relax.
